These are our billet heads that we originally produced back in 2013 and 2014. We had originally designed these with multiple ideas in mind but the main being to solve the over heating issue the rear cylinder has. The stock head design from Yamaha allows water to enter the head and move directly through with very little water being forced into the rear cylinder water jackets. Our head design has a wall that stops random water disbursement and forces the flow into the rear water jackets and around the front of the cylinder creating a much cooler water pattern. This is a similar design used in the Banshee world and is a standard for aftermarket head design. The heads are a two piece design which allows for maximum cooling capacity.
We also wanted to have removable domes allowing the ease of compression changes and engine repairs. The domes also allow the use of "E" series spark plugs which are more commonly available. The heads are sealed with a minimal number of o'rings which eliminates the use of a stock head gasket. The standard domes that come with the head are 13cc and should be equivalent to stock compression.
The head kit includes both front and rear head assembly. Domes for both heads and all necessary O'rings. Acorn nuts, copper washers and barbed fitting are included. The heads were designed to be used with the stock studs so simple installation is all that is required.
These heads proved to be very effective when we originally manufactured them and that has created the interest to continue the production of them.
