THIS BASE GASKET IS THINNER THAN THE STANDARD GASKET SIZES. THE .015" GASKET IS USED FOR TIGHTER SQUISH CLEARANCES AND HIGHER COMPRESSION WITHOUT CHANGING THE DOME SIZE OR SHAPE. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CLEARANCES ARE STILL WITHIN SPEC WHEN USING THIS GASKET AS ENGINE DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF YOUR TOLERANCES ARE TO TIGHT.

We had this base gasket custom cut to match the transfer ports on a Super cub cylinder. The transfer ports on super cub cylinders are very large and standard base gaskets hang over into the port area disrupting fuel flow causing turbulence. We opened up our base gaskets to match the large transfer ports and to fit the larger 72mm sleeve on the super cub cylinder. This base gasket is .015" thick.
