ASSASSIN-II   68MM NICKASIL BORE 392CC CYLINDER KIT:

THESE ARE OUR NEW DESIGN CYLINDERS THE ASSASSIN-2'S. WE TRIED TO MAINTAIN THE SAME STOCK LOOK THAT OUR FIRST GENERATION CYLINDERS HAD WITH LOTS OF INTERNAL UPGRADES TO THE PORT DESIGNS.

WE HAVE SET THE PORT TIMING FOR THESE CYLINDERS IN A MODERATE SETTING FOR ANY TYPE OF RIDING OR RACING:

EXHAUST PORT TIMING IS: 192 DURATION

TRANSFER TIMING IS: 118 DURATION

  

THE NEW CHANGES TO THE CYLINDERS ARE:

1) INTAKE TUNNEL ROOF HAS A SMOOTHER TRANSITION.

2) BOOST PORTS WERE ADDED TO THE INTAKE.

3) THE OUTSIDE CYLINDER AREAS AROUND THE BOOST PORTS WERE FILLED IN SO BOOST PORTS CAN BE MADE LARGER WITHOUT BREAKING THROUGH. THIS EXTRA MATERIAL HAS CAUSED THE USE OF AN ARP NUT ON THE REAR OUTSIDE INTAKE STUD.

4)TRANSFER TUNNELS WERE MADE LARGER AND NOW REQUIRE THE USE OF A CUB BASE GASKET. THE INTERNAL BORE SIDE WALL IS ROUNDED FOR BETTER FLOW.

4A)THE TRANSFER DIVIDER RIB IS SHORTER AND LOWER TO ALLOW FUEL FROM THE BOOST PORTS TO REACH THE FRONT TRANSFER WINDOW EASIER.

5) THE OUTSIDE OF THE CYLINDER AROUND THE TRANSFER PORTS WERE EXTENDED TO GIVE MORE SEALING AREA AND MORE ROOM IF ADDITIONAL PORTING IS DESIRED.

6) THE FRONT TRANSFER WINDOW IS ANGLED FOR BETTER FLOW.

7) THE EXHAUST PORT SHAPE HAS CHANGED FOR MORE AREA AND FLOW.

8) THE TRIPLE PORTS ARE LARGER AND THE TRIPLE TUNNEL WAS INCREASED IN SIZE TO MATCH.

 

THIS KIT REQUIRES THE USE OF A 9 or 10 DEGREE BIG BORE DOME: WITH THE MODERATE PORT TIMING A 23CC OR 24CC DOME WOULD BE REQUIRED FOR THE USE OF PUMP GAS DEPENDING ON YOUR ELEVATION. SOMEONE AT OR NEAR SEA LEVEL WOULD BE HIGHER COMPRESSION.  RACE GAS 110 OCTANE WOULD REQUIRE 19CC OR 20CC DOMES DEPENDING ON ELEVATION. 

The 392cc kit is designed to be used with a 54mm stock stroke crankshft with stock 110mm rods.

We have tested multiple exhaust manufacturers on our cylinders and most of them perform well, obviously the better the exhaust the more H.P. that will be achieved. Peak H.P. and power curves will also vary depending on the amount of compression and timing you choose to use along with the quality of reeds and carburetors that are being installed.

Kit includes:

2 cylinders Nikasil plated to a 68mm bore size.

2 Wiseco forged 68mm custom piston with a 9 degree dome angle and our custom intake window design, rings, wrist pins and circlips.

2 rubber water jacket plugs.

1 .020" base gasket

10 stock style head studs.

2 ARP nuts

    These are excellent cylinders for the money. They are quality cylinders with quality plating. I bought the 392 kit with no extra porting and they absolutely rip on my quad with cpi inframes, stock carbs (for now), hot rods crank, uni pods, v force 4 reeds, 23cc driveline domes, driveline dune/trail clutch, and stock gearing. Lane was always quick to answer my questions and super helpful. Their great guys to deal with and their cylinders are no joke either.
